LG Electronics (2013)

LG Electronics seeks to build a new headquarters building in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. As designed, the new building is expected to rise above the tree line atop the Palisades. Decades of preservation efforts have kept the views of the Palisades free of visible development.

The Riverdale Nature Preservancy supports preservation groups who are urging LG Electronics to rethink the design of their building. Please read our letter to Mr. Mark A. Izeman, Esq. of the Natural Resources Defense Council, a leader of the opposition to the height of the proposed building.
