In December 2006, NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced the launch of PlaNYC2030, a long-term growth and sustainability plan intended to guide the City’s policy making efforts in key environmental areas over the coming decades.
The Riverdale Nature Preservancy, in March 2007, wrote to Dr. Rohit T. Aggarwala, then Director of the NYC Office of Long-term Planning and Sustainability, with a community perspective on the PlaNYC2030 process. View our cover letter and recommendations below.
