Land Use Planning in Community District 8
CD 8 2000: A River to Reservoir Preservation Strategy
Community Board 8 has created a land use plan that lays out policies and strategies to guide future growth and development in Community District 8. The idea for the plan was first suggested by the Preservancy in the early 1990s, and the final plan, titled CD 8 2000: A River to Reservoir Preservation Strategy, was approved by the City Council in Fall 2003. The recent rezonings in our area are occurring as a result of this plan. For an outline of the Plan’s recommendations, click here »
